What Agreements Have You Made?

In our walk with God, we must be mindful of the agreements we make—whether consciously or unconsciously. These agreements can either align us with God's will and His blessings or lead us away from the life He has planned for us. The Bible warns us that wrong agreements can cause spiritual separation from God and hinder us from receiving His promises.
An agreement is a decision, a pact, or a belief that we align ourselves with. These can be thoughts, words, or even actions that we accept into our lives. For example, agreeing with the lie that “I’m not worthy of God’s blessings” or “God doesn’t heal today” can lead us to live outside of God’s promises. In contrast, agreeing with God’s Word brings us into His divine purpose and fullness.
In Isaiah 55:7, we are reminded, “Let the wicked forsake their ways and the unrighteous their thoughts. Let them turn to the Lord, and He will have mercy on them.” When we agree with sin, lies, or worldly influences, we separate ourselves from His will and blessings. Wrong agreements make us partners with the enemy, opening doors to fear, confusion, and limitation in our lives.
The Apostle Paul warns in 2 Corinthians 6:14, “Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?” Agreements with darkness—whether in relationships, thoughts, or behaviors—can lead us away from God’s will.
Today, examine the agreements you’ve made in your heart. Are they in alignment with God’s truth and His plans for your life? If not, break them today in Jesus’ name. Choose to align yourself with the Word of God and His promises, and watch as His blessings begin to flow freely in your life. ~Kimberly - Minister @ God's Healing Power Radio Ministry.
