Thirty years ago this week, my divorce was final. I have never publicly spoken my truth about the trauma I went through with the man I was married to. God says it's now time. It's my time. My voice. Truth. Thank you God, for divorce, because Your Word does teach us that you allow for it! I needed it to be delivered from a controlling narcissist, gaslighter, porn addict, and serial adulterer! And God was right there to pull me out of that union. He took something that was meant for my destruction and turned it around for good as He propelled me into the ministry not long after. The only thing I am thankful for in that awful marriage is my son, and through him I now have 2 beautiful grandchildren. And the other blessing from the divorce was to find a real man who was a responsible adult and we have now been married since 1992!
I am so tired of Bible thumpers on social media who bash people who have been through divorce. They have no clue what they are talking about because they have not thoroughly vetted the topic in the Bible.
So... I will be teaching a course on Divorce and Adultery on our website.
