Good Word for Today!
"Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you." (Luke 6:38)
Have you ever seen an infinity pool? The water continually pours over the edge. As we give, the Lord will give BACK to us and not just in little bits and pieces, but in an OVERFLOWING stream and RUNNING OVER the edges. He wants to bless us more than we can ever imagine. But do we want to receive it???
I have come across so many people that confess, "I only need enough to get by." If that is your confession of "faith" (or lack of it!), then your mouth to God's ear! It will be unfortunate that you do not have enough left over to bless anyone else but yourself. (ouch, when you put it like that!)
Not only does God bless us with finances, He blesses us with ALL blessings. When we give a smile, we get BACK smiles galore from others. When we give of our time, we get BACK time from others when we need them. And the list goes on and on.
So.... GIVE and it WILL be given unto you.The Lord will make sure of it. It is spiritual law. Read Luke 6:38 today...
