Isn't this a wonderful scripture?
Proverbs 16:24 ~ "Gracious words are like a honeycomb, sweetness to the soul and health to the body."
In The Message Bible it is translated:
"Gracious speech is like clover honey— good taste to the soul, quick energy for the body."
In The Amplified it says:
"Pleasant words are like a honeycomb, Sweet and delightful to the soul and healing to the body."
Yes, WORDS can affect our health! But we already knew that from this passage...
"Dear friend, listen well to my words; tune your ears to my voice. Keep my message in plain view at all times. Concentrate! Learn it by heart! Those who discover these words live, really live; body and soul, they're bursting with health. For they are life to those who find them, and HEALTH to all their body... ~Proverbs 4:20-22
