We all go through things. Every single one of us. We go through loss, sickness, disappointment, rejection and list goes on and on. It's how we RESPOND to the adversities that makes all the difference to how we RECOVER.
These two scriptures came to me today because someone needs to get this...
Many hardships and perplexing circumstances confront the righteous, but the Lord rescues him from them all. ~ Psalm 34:19 (AMP)
If you remain in Me and My words remain in you [that is, if we are vitally united and My message lives in your heart], ask whatever you wish and it will be done for you.~ John 15:17 (AMP)
TWO THINGS to take away from this...
1. No matter what you are going through, you are going THROUGH it and not camping out because God is going to see you OVER to the other side. He will RESCUE those who believe in Him. (Righteous=Right Standing With Him)
2. Stay the course with God. Don't be lukewarm and fade away. REMAIN in Him. Be UNITED with Him. And we do this by putting HIS WORDS on our lips and in our hearts. Say what He says. Do what He asks us to do. It's all for OUR benefit and protection because as a RESULT, THEN we can ask and it will be done. But there are conditions! Heed the conditions! There are 331 If>Then statements in the Bible. It's all about PARTNERING with God!
Prayer for today: Father, even though there are many arrows being flung my way, I know that You are with me, and as I put Your Word first and walk in Your ways, You will deliver me from the hands of the enemy and from all destruction. You have a good plan for my life... plans to prosper me and not to harm me and plans to give me a HOPE and a FUTURE. Today I choose to do life Your way. Help me to get a revelation of Your love, Your grace and Your power that flows through me. I can do ALL THINGS through Christ [and His anointing] which strengthens me. AMEN!
