How Can I?

Every day while we are going about our daily activities, there is a constant dialogue running in our head... "How can I _____?" (Fill in the blank.)

How can I get all of this work done before 5:00?

How can I make it to all of my activities on time today?

How can I earn enough to pay these bills?

How can I take care of my sick loved ones and still be able to function?

The scenario in your head is unique to you.

So let's change the inner dialogue

from... How can I?

to...

Lord, how can you help me?

Shift the responsibilities to His shoulders and REMOVE them from yours.

God is a partner in your journey. You are not in this alone. In your weakness, He is strong in you and will give you the answers and the pathway that you need if you would step back, take a breath, and say, "Lord, how can you help me?"

Here are some scriptures from God's Word that will give you strength and encouragement today...

"And He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.” Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast [a]about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me. Therefore I am well content with weaknesses, with insults, with distresses, with persecutions, with difficulties, for Christ’s sake; for when I am weak, then I am strong." ~ 2 Cor. 12: 9-11

"I can do all things through him who strengthens me." ~ Philippians 4:13

"May you be strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy..." ~ Col. 1:11

"That your faith might not rest in the wisdom of men but in the power of God." ~ 1 Cor. 2:5

“In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.” ~ Proverbs 3:6

“Cast all your cares on the Lord and He will sustain you.” ~ Psalms 55:22

“Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They shall soar on wings like eagles.” ~ Isaiah 40:31

“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” ~ Isaiah 41:10
