Calling Those Things That Are Not

The biblical concept of "God calling those things that are not as though they were." (Romans 4: 17) is one that is RARELY taught in churches today. The truth is that Jesus did this whenever He spoke and we are to follow His examples.

The Bible says, "Let the weak SAY I am strong..." So, you are calling for strength, even though circumstances show otherwise. Don't agree with the circumstances... change them by getting into agreement with God and allowing His Word to come forth from our lips. When we do this, we tap into His supernatural power.

This is not new age or something "out there". It's Bible, and woven all throughout scripture. New age has taken hold of it, but left Jesus and His power out of the equation, thereby making them imitators only, leaving their results a few fries short of a happy meal...

So start speaking the RESULT you want instead of the PROBLEM. This is a biblical mandate and we must understand this and implement it. One day we may be asking Jesus, "Jesus, why didn't you take care of this for me?" Jesus will reply, "Why didn't you do what I asked you to do in Romans 4:17?" OUCH. Let this sink in for awhile. Selah.
