I minister to a LOT of people who are in need of healing...in person, over the phone, through email requests. Wherever and whenever I can. Last summer I did radio interviews for my Healing Summit with some of the top pastors/ministers in the country and we all discussed healing for our listeners and how to receive it. Here are a few words of wisdom from my 28+ years of experience in the healing ministry. I will be teaching a webinar on this topic sometime soon, but here are just a few tidbits to keep in mind.
~ You must be in faith. Faith in God! Faith that He wants you well! (The Bible is FULL of scriptures telling us this!) And faith that the person who is praying for you cares for your well-being and the Lord is working THROUGH them as they pray.
~ After someone prays for you, your confession must line up with what God says on healing and what was prayed for you. Move forward THANKING GOD that it's done and that your healing is manifesting, no matter what you see or feel .Remember that the manifestation of healing can come instantly, or can come in stages or gradually. But the bottom line is that God has ALREADY healed us. "By His stripes ye WERE healed." 1 Peter 2:24. Now it's up to us to RECEIVE what He has already provided on the cross. He will not go back to the cross again for us... it's FINISHED!
~ Pray for the Lord to REVEAL to you anything that may be HINDERING your progress of healing. "Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know." Jeremiah 33:3
~ Confess the healing scriptures over yourself DAILY. When you get into agreement with God, then this is what moves Him. It's spiritual law. "If you abide in me, and MY WORDS abide in you, (then) ask whatever you wish, and it shall be done." John 15:7
~ Find someone to pray for who needs prayer! It doesn't matter if we are hurting...it matters that we will allow God to work THROUGH us to help others. "Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much." James 5:16
There is MUCH MUCH more to teach on this topic. So stay tuned for info on my webinar sometime late fall. If you would like a list of healing confessions based on God's Word, you can email me at GodsHealingPower.org and request them.
God Bless!
