It seems that every time that I go to the ATM to get some money out of my account, I never remember my pin number. It's probably because I don't use the ATM very often. How many of you forget your pin number???

When we need something in our lives and we go to God with our petitions, we must never forget the "pin number" that makes it possible for us to receive the blessings in our lives....J-E-S-U-S!!!

John 14:6: "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one goes to the Father except through me.

I think it's so important that we study our Bibles. Not just read them, but investigate and look up the original meaning of words. It gives us a deeper revelation of the scriptures and I constantly get goosebumps when I discover what a passage of scripture is really saying to me.

Many years ago I "investigated" the meaning of the word "saved" in the following scripture and I had to rejoice at what I discovered....

Romans 10:13 -  "For everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord [invoking Him as Lord] will be saved."

That word "saved" is from the Greek word SOZO and it means:

-to save
-to keep safe and sound,
-to rescue from danger or destruction one (from injury or peril)
-to save a suffering one (from perishing), i.e. one suffering from disease,
-to make well, heal, restore to health
-to preserve one who is in danger of destruction,
-to save or rescue
-to save in the technical biblical sense
-to deliver from the penalties of the Messianic judgment

Not only can we call upon the name of Jesus as Lord to "save" us from condemnation, but we can call upon His name to be made whole in every way...spirit, soul, and body!!

What PIN number are you using to get your prayers answered? Are you calling upon your own name... your own works...the works of the world? Or are you calling upon that precious name of Jesus Christ....THE ONE who is our source of all power, glory, and blessings....

When you don't know what else to do....use the ultimate PIN number... 

just cry out, "JESUS!"
